Kutturan Chamoru Foundation (KCF) formed in 1993 and established as a 501(c)(3) in 2008, is an authentic Chamoru dance ensemble representing the Marianas Islands in the Micronesian region of the Pacific to include: Guam, Saipan, Tinian andRota. KCP is based in Long Beach, California and has performed all over the world from Washington, D.C. to Sinaloa, Mexico to the largest Mariana Island of Guam. KCF is compromised of 70 to 80 volunteer dancers and participants from ages 3 to 60 plus. KCF participates in annual Pacific Island and multi-ethnic cultural festivals, Chamoru dance competition, Chamoru Fiesta celebrations, weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions that celebrate and promote our efforts to preserve the Chamoru culture.
One of the amazing things about Kutturan Chamoru Performers is that since its inception, KCF has not charged for lessons. We encourage an open and family-like learning environment which emulates that of our ancestors. We welcome everyone to join our efforts in promoting the Chamoru culture and hope to see you at our next cultural presentation.
